Yes, you have to pay, of course, but just as with the cable, you get many more channels and more difficult, innovative programs. Also, do not lose your favorite station when you travel around the state or country. Players, and satellite show the artist and song name, this is definitely an advantage for those who like to know, what they feel today. In the United States there are only two players in the satellite radio industry, Sirius and XM. WorldSpace, since the transfer of the longest and includes areas not currently provides coverage in the United States. With only two suppliers would be the pick-up, we believe that the decision would not be difficult, but each has its own advantages and disadvantages and the decision is usually the budget and personal preference.

How it works

In1992, the U.S. Federal Communications Commission (FCC) allocated a spectrum of "S" band (2.3 GHz) for transmission to national level of satellite digital audio radio service (DARS). Of the four companies that applied for licenses to transfer the rights granted to only two, Sirius (formerly CD Radio) and XM (formerly American Mobile Radio). Each company has satellites in orbit above the earth entrusted to their programming. Programs are beamed to a satellite, transmitted, then the signal to the ground, where you take the radio receiver one of the channels within the signal. The signals will be beamed repeaters for listeners in urban areas, the soil, where the satellite signal can be interrupted.

In many ways, Sirius has set the tone for the industry, while offering first commercial free programming on all music channels and has the largest selection of receivers, adapters and other products. XM has a reasonable charge for at least for its basic plan, which offers more or less the same price as its competitors.

Both suppliers have collaborated with carmakers to offer satellite radio in new car models. And each has systems that are the channels looking for your favorite music and alert you when and where to play the songs. The choice between the two companies can be difficult, because each has its advantages. Here you will find some information that listeners choose between the two.

XM> Radio

XM Satellite Radio offers 68 commercial-free music channels, 33 news, sports, and Talk & Entertainment, and 21 traffic channels and dedicated channels for weather information. XM is the exclusive provider of satellite radio FOX Sports Radio, Sporting News Radio and the only 24-hours around the world NASCAR Radio. It does not offer NFL programming.

Equipment

XM has several opportunities in the equipment. It is for just under $ 120, you getDelphi XM Roady receiver. This complete package comes with a micro-antenna, cassette adapter, 12V power and a universal mounting bracket. For an additional $ 10 you can upgrade to the Roady2, proclaimed as the smallest satellite receiver available. In addition to typical satellite radio allows you to scroll up to 20 stock symbols and has 30 preset channels.

Delphi XM SKYFi is a receiver with a higher listing. It gives you more informationfor each song, and the five-line display, you can see what is playing on other XM channels before moving on. The SKYFi2, which costs $ 30 more, gives pause and play functions. It must be combined with an adapter kit for home, car or audio system. These cards range from $ 70 – $ 100 in price.

Coming in November 2004, the Delphi XM myf advertised, first XM2go receiver in the world, XM is available. It comes with the car kit, home kit, rechargeable battery, headphones, antennasand for $ 349.99.

Sirius

Sirius Satellite Radio features 65 channels of commercial music, in addition to more than 50 channels of great sports, news and entertainment programs. Are only one of two contenders for the NFL coverage, including play-by-play action and pre-game had to offer.

Equipment

Siruis offers a variety of optional features. Customers can choose from over 15 plug and play options. Receiver Average cost $ 99.95 and cancombined with a house or a car adapter or a choice of different Boomboxes. For the same $ 99.95, the Sirius Sportster adds special features for athletes including Game alert you when your favorite NFL or other sports teams play and games area, all play-by-play games directory Sirius calls and scores from the sample.

O € 149.99 you can listen to all meet with the Sanyo CRSR-10 Plug & Play system. It includes home and car kits for use inHome, office, truck, camper, boat or car and antennas for home and car. It has 20 presets and features an FM transmitter for use on all 100 FM frequencies. If a stereo is not your style, you can integrate with home theater systems and with other audio devices. Prices range from $ 250 to $ 2000.

You can set a control of the car, throw in a tuner and antenna and you're connected to the satellite in your vehicle without the portable receiver and adapter. Sirius has more than 15The control of the price range from under $ 200 to over $ 1000. Some of the cheap devices, CD players and removable fronts to come.

Satellite radio seems to be and stay. The offer even better and the decision between the two is increasingly difficult. The equipment is in stores and sites of retailers like Wal-Mart and Best Buy and on the websites of the supplier. Static free, commercial free radio listening andYour favorite stations wherever you go, satellite radio is the choice of millions of people. The installation and activation are simple. In fact, the hardest decision might be to decide which provider to choose.

The Pros

I liked the sound very HD. Both AM and FM sound noticeably better in HD – with a sound clean and clear and no static or interference. However, and perhaps this is just me, I saw the dramatic difference between regular AM and HD AM> Radio.

The device is easy to use without problems right out of the box without installation. It 'basically plug and play, just plug and turn it on.

It is also easy to find HD stations. Just press Seek and the radio will automatically enter the next station, he will find the light and a red light. If the station broadcasts in HD, a blue light flashing and then determine if the HD signal is displayed on-screen text hangs workstations letters, and if it is an HD2 channel, TSFrequency will be followed by the number one. Example 101,1-1 appear as 101.1. Press Seek again and the HD100 automatically goes to the HD2 channel.

The HD100 is also very easy to program. Everything you do, if you find an HD or HD2 broadcast you want to save, press one of five buttons to program. U You can program up to five an hour in the morning and five FM radio stations.

There is also a scan and scan-Up-Down button. I found the scan-down especially since Seek only increases l 'Dial.

Radiosophy the HD100 has a telescoping FM antenna, which I think is really necessary. However, I have at the end of the AM antenna assembly, as I have a problem with AM radio signals, despite the fact that I live in the metropolitan area.

I also liked the compact size. The design is beautiful and is easy to pick up the device and run from one room to another. Since it doubles as an alarm clock with a clock, an alarm and a snooze function, probably keep it in myBedroom.

Recital

I want to come and see this ship is HD radio with a remote control. I had sat on a shelf across the room, so if I decided to change channels or adjust the volume, I had to stop what I was doing and to get up and go through the device.

I also found the screen, or a rather 'difficult to read. But then, I'm not the youngest, perhaps even more so with my own eyes how the radio do-s display.

Finally, since theUnit size, there is no true stereo separation. The sound is excellent, but can never believe that just listen to a program broadcast stereo. But for me is good because the HD100 is a compact clock radio and not a bookshelf stereo system.

Abstract

In summary, the HD100 Radiosophy set for a great value. This is almost $ 100 less than other tables and still have almost everything you need in an HD Radio. Its sound is clear and pure, andeasy to install and use, and that will also attract you.
I give it a solid B +.

The purpose of the event is the ability to send messages in many forms without the use of phone systems, Internet or other infrastructure that may prove to be called a crisis in question. With only emergency power supplies, ham operators construct emergency stations in parks, shopping centers, schools andBackyards throughout the country. For the third consecutive year, a team of hams set up their equipment from Tucson to Chiricahua Rustler in high mountains (8800 m) Park. Although the remote location is ideal for less than a radio, there are Al, Dave, Mike and Dennis can do what is best ham: to find ways to goofy self-imposed technical difficulties!

When it is released to promote their new music, I
found that most musicians only consider the radio as a vehicle
expose their music to the public.

Rarely have the form of advertising media,
Ie, music magazines, weekly arts and entertainment
To support publications and newspapers as support tools
their radio airplay (another subject), I turn to short.

But even rarer is their reasoningthe importance of
with videos for their singles. A video of your unique, the
the first time used as an optional luxury, is now a standard tool
fundamental and necessary tool if you are in competition with himself
Fellow independent recording artists for media and consumers
Attention.

And a video is even more important if you are a
Compete with major artists. In fact, for a video
for the single player, especially their first single of a new
Issue is so incredibly important, why would you issue a
Without a record in the music of today's climate?

For me this is like a soldier at war only with a pistol
while behind his automatic weapon in his barracks.

But maybe in your head, you believe that there is still much
costs of production videos for your singles. More,
while you are probably an expert in music production, is
probably feel like an amateur whenThese videos
Production. But it need not necessarily be the case anymore.

So, I'll show you a piece of cake approach easily
always produced a video for at least the first single
Their new version, if not all singles.

* The steps for your video cheap Singles *

1. Once you've learned the soundtrack and
His first single, you should contact an area
College, university or artInstitute.

2. Say the school administration department you need
be in contact with the newspaper "broadcast" department.

3. When you reach the broadcast journalism department,
Ask for a "consultant" or "Department of the Action Plan.

4. Say the consultant or the service that you're an artist
interested in producing a music video, and that
would be in contact with either a student or a senior
University that is graduating inBroadcast Journalism
perhaps with a concentration on "production" or "direction".

You can also search for your best wishes for a load of students
who has experience with music videos produced
already. Depending on the size of the school, it is likely
Several candidates qualified students.

In most cases there are video producers and directors who
wishes to move from a script, an action that includes the work
Your video unique. If this is the case, and you need
a script, I MuBiz.com that are directly
script from your video unique. See the link:

[# Video_Scripting http://www.mubiz.com/services.html]

You can also script a video that I first
Client on the link.

5. How to get to the low cost of broadcast journalism
Students to produce the video, in very few casesthese
In particular, students are already in the video is necessary for their
Class projects, sale and can only be those that will pique
their interest. This is a no-cost method and are often
Need to arrange this setup one semester in advance.

In other cases, students or their own equipment, film can
or include in a position to equip schools for the production. And,
In this case, there may be a nominal fee, but this
Taxes are veryaffordable.

The best thing about this scenario is that, while
is the best knowledge of production by the student, as
and the video is produced with the latest technology, is
can not be charged the commercial, as if having a
Cameraman or related services that are officially function
commercial status.

But perhaps the best thing about this course for
Production of Video Singles is that not only
capable of marketing and the status of the artist is still to bring a piece of
with a video, is now also another product
can be used with the dual purpose

1. For the further promotion of your single

2. Able to sell a product for online music
Sites and in retail.

In some cases you might also want to offer them as a package
solve your CD. Also, why not take another step forward
inserting it into your CD by putting it on DVD, as
and making it available on videotape for retail
and consumers?

Note: Depending on the scale of production,
Most videos can be produced and edited within two
Weeks, if not before.
